On Saturday, February 6, 2021 we will host the 3rd Annual Powerful Learners Conference as a virtual event, focused on how we can reenergize, reconnect and refresh as educators to keep students feeling safe and supported in this most unusual time. Together, we will build capacity in our schools and community spaces for honoring the unique needs and gifts of our students, setting the stage for them to thrive and break cycles of structural inequity.

This is my twelfth year as a high school teacher in San Francisco. I have both SpEd and GenEd credentials and have taught in a variety of settings over my career (self-contained SDC, inclusive co-teaching, GenEd, instructional coaching). Fun fact: I've taught every single HS content area except for lab sciences. I'm passionate about health education, community-building, and culturally responsive teaching.
