On Saturday, February 6, 2021 we will host the 3rd Annual Powerful Learners Conference as a virtual event, focused on how we can reenergize, reconnect and refresh as educators to keep students feeling safe and supported in this most unusual time. Together, we will build capacity in our schools and community spaces for honoring the unique needs and gifts of our students, setting the stage for them to thrive and break cycles of structural inequity.

Jenna Marx

Gateway High School
College Counselor

Jenna Marx is one of Gateway's College Counselors as well as the Student Opportunities Coordinator. She has a Bachelors in Community Studies from UCSC and a Masters in Counseling Psychology from USF. She joined the Gateway community in 2018. Before that she worked with youth in various roles and environments including as a writing coach, a mentor, a music instructor and program coordinator for Bay Area Girls Rock Camp, a substitute teacher, an after-school program teacher, and an organizer of youth-focused music and arts events. For fun she likes to play guitar and sing in punk and indie bands.
